Don't know if you're still around, but here I am 14 years after your post and being very thankful you posted it. I'm brand new to Arbortext and was faced with "importing" a 100-row table from Word into Arbortext, and your method worked like a charm. Couldn't find anything else on the topic, and none of the experienced users in my office knew this could be done!
If I knew how to send this message back in time to thank you, I would definitely do so! ;o)
